It stays yours, in your folders. Sharing lets someone open it from Shared with me — to read, or to edit too. Every change either of you makes is in its History.

A link to one article. KitDB fetches the page and pulls out the article. It works when the text is in the page, which covers most metered paywalls; a page that only sends a teaser cannot be read this way.
The KitDB button, for sites that will not let KitDB in

Some sites refuse KitDB’s request for a page. The button sends the page from your browser instead: on the article, press it, and KitDB opens it in the reader, ready to save.

On an iPhone, the Share button. Set up once, in the Shortcuts app; then on any article in Safari tap Share → Send to KitDB, and tap 📋 Paste the page when KitDB opens.

  1. Settings → Apps → Shortcuts → Advanced: turn on Allow Running Scripts.
  2. In Shortcuts, tap +, name it Send to KitDB. Tap ⓘ, turn on Show in Share Sheet, and set it to receive Safari web pages only.
  3. Add the action Run JavaScript on Web Page, with Shortcut Input as the page, and replace its script with this ():
  4. Add Copy to Clipboard (it takes the JavaScript result).

Paste any address: a feed, a Substack, a blog, a YouTube channel.

Rename a tag and every note follows. Merging moves one tag's notes onto another; deleting takes it off every note. None of this counts as editing a note.

Completed

Cards marked Complete leave the board and wait here. Restore puts one back in the column it came from.

History

One entry per editing session. Restoring saves that version as a new one, so a restore can be undone too.
